CFO Simplified, a fractional CFO provider for small to mid-size companies is seeking a Business Development Executive to develop and implement a strategy for acquiring new clients in the greater Chicago region (primarily). The right candidate will understand both Sales and Executive Recruitment.

As the ideal candidate you will:

  • Be comfortable working with small to mid-size companies ($3-50M)
    • Have a strong network and utilize those connections to generate your own leads
    • Be able to use cold calling, outreach, and networking to achieve results (in other words: close a sale)
    • Develop, implement, and maintain your own sales plan for the Chicago and Midwest market.
    • Always exhibit excellent organizational skills and focus on achieving your goals at all times
    • Maintain a strong sales pipeline that enables revenue targets to be overachieved
      • Understand the sales process to successfully lead potential clients through the cycle
      • Identify Strategic Partners to build relationships
      • Continually grow a network of businessowners, lawyers, bankers, accounting firms, business coaches and private equity firms.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the role of finance in business with the ability to easily describe in detail the skills a fractional Chief Financial Officer will provide to the client
    • Professionally represent the Company
    • Compellingly explain the benefits of fractional CFO services
    • Regularly communicate a strong understanding of market and competition
