In addition, you may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any of our marketing e-mails. We utilize Constant Contact to administer our newsletters and email campaigns. When you subscribe, you are added to an email list that we can then use to send updates on CFO Simplified content, products and other services available. You should be aware that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases. You cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails related to the Site (e.g., requests for support).

We securely store your data with a cloud host. All of our servers are encrypted, with a standard process for data deletion. Sensitive data such as your passwords are stored as hashed values. Our third-party provider utilizes a number of proprietary methods to safeguard information. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of the third parties with which we may share such Information, nor can we guarantee that your information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet. In particular, e-mails sent to us may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail. We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored “personal data” (as defined in applicable state statutes on security breach notification) to you via email or conspicuous posting on the Site in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents who have an established business relationship with us may choose to opt out of our sharing their contact information with third parties for direct marketing purposes. California residents who are our users in California now have the right to see a report summarizing all of their personal data that we have collected and to request the removal of their data from our computer systems.
